I wanted to create a leader for the Cobra Troopers that was more than just an squad leader like my Officer custom.  Using the Hi-Tech head gave this one a different look from the troopers I've made and works well as the character I created.  The rest was just paint and applying the Trooper armor like my other Trooper customs.  I never liked the way the visor fit on Hi-Tech's face so I trimmed it down some and got a better fit that I like.

In order to instill some sense of hope in the cannon fodder troops that make up the Cobra infantry, Cobra Commander decided to promote one of the veteran soldiers to a new position he created to boost morale: Captain of the Guard.  The rank and position in the Cobra Infantry is mostly for show as Cobra Commander has little faith in his human troops but the current Captain of the Guard takes his position seriously.  The "COG" as his troops have come to call him, carries out the Commander's orders nearly perfectly and when he isn't running errands for the Cobra hierarchy, the COG does the administrative paperwork for the infantry division.  However this doesn't mean that the COG is a paper pusher.  Quite the contrary, the COG was one of the infantry's best soldiers before being promoted and has seen more action than most of the recruits under "his command".  Dangerous and ruthless, like the rest of the infantry, the COG represents everything the Cobra Troopers should aspire to, at least according to Cobra Commander.
