Needing to fill out my Cobra ranks I went to the coporate sector and recruited the Crimson Twins, Tomax & Xamot.

I needed to fill out my Cobra ranks and the Crimson Guard leaders seemed like a natural choice.  The new Firefly body had just the right features I was looking for.  The smirky face and modified Sigma Suit design were perfect for the Twins.  I used Firefly's elbow and shoulder pads as a little extra bulk and armor for the suits and to cover some of the Sigma ports.  I took a Dremel to Xamot's face to define the scar a bit and sanded off the soul patches.  I went with an identical design on the uniforms and just used a mirror image paint scheme to tell them apart.  I think this fits in better with the Sigma 6 universe than the version 1 figures.  I added a nice handgun for each and an Extensive Enterprises brief case and they were all set for battle.

Very little is known about the "Crimson Twins" Tomax & Xamot.  They served in the French Foreign Legion and the militia in South Africa where they gained their military experience.  Then they moved into the corporate sector, using their intelligence and cunning building a worldwide conglomerate which serves as a legitimate front for Cobra operations.  As Co-CEOs of Extensive Enterprises, Tomax & Xamot have the power and connections which make it increasingly difficult to stop Cobra.  They also serve as the commanders of the Crimson Guard, Cobra's elite undercover unit made up of lawyers, accountants and politicians.

The twins are identical with Xamot's facial scar being the only way to tell them apart.  They are never seen separate from each other and are so close some believe they have a psychic connection as evidenced by the way they complete each others sentences and know what the other is thinking.  They are sly, cunning and ruthless and their loyalties lie with each other first and Cobra second, a fact that Cobra Commander has yet to witness firsthand.
