With Zartan coming out in a few months and my Zandar custom sitting along on my shelf I needed a new Dreadnok to fill out my Cobra ranks so here he is Road Pig.

Base Figure: Heavy Duty version 1
Accessories: 1/6 scale sledge hammer

I started on this one by cutting off and smoothing out the Sigma Suit ports.  Then I modified the head to look like Road Pig by sanding off the beard and band-aid and sculpting a nice flat-top.  Needing to add something to the figure I grabbed out a few spikes from my 1/18 scale fodder, drilled holes in the shoulders and glued 'em in.  I also took the shield piece off Duke v.1's grappling hook launcher and glued it over the wrist comm unit.  The hardest part however was getting the flesh tone right.  I'm still not completely happy with the paint job on the flesh parts but I think the color suits Road Pig well.  I got some craft jewelry chain and wrapped his chest in it to add a little depth to him.  I couldn't find a good scale concrete block so I picked up a couple sledge hammers that I think work well.  Oh and I painted on a little tattoo onto his left arm in homage to his 3 3/4" version 1 figure.  Its not perfect but I like it.

Road Pig was very troubled child with severe behavioral problems.  As an orphan he was raised by nuns before his behavior became too much for them to handle and he was turned over to the state.  It was here that he learned that his strength was his greatest asset even though he wasn't very smart.  Road Pig was easily talked into committing crimes with the other juvenile delinquents he grew up with.  His arrest record as a minor would make most adult career criminals look like the Pope.  In and out of juvenile correction institutions and once he turned 18 jail, Road Pig found a place to belong among the street gangs and eventually came to the attention of Zartan of the Dreadnoks.  Zartan saw the usefulness of having an extremely strong and easily controlled brute and made him his personal bodyguard.  While the rest of the Dreadnoks like to use the latest weaponry they can steal, Road Pig uses an old fashioned sledge hammer if he needs a weapon at all since he prefers to just smash things with his fists.

Road Pig still has emotional outbursts and his rage is barely contained but Zartan has found a way to control the brute and as long as they have missions to carry out for Cobra, Road Pig will have an outlet for his anger which is usually directed at the Sigma 6 team.
