Code Name: Deep Six Real Name: Willoughby, Malcolm R. Deep Sea Diver
Primary Military Specialty: Master Diver Secondary Military Specialty: S.E.A.L.
Deep Six enlisted in the Navy and underwent S.E.A.L. training. After serving 6 months with the teams he realized that group operations weren't his specialty and applied for dive school where he found his true calling. Excelling in deep sea excercises where all he had to depend on and worry about was himself was perfect for the solitary soldier. Its not that Deep Six didn't do well with groups, he just prefers to work alone and deep sea diving is about as alone as you can get. He set several dive records and served as an instructor before joining Sigma 6. During a routine dive training exercise, Deep Six and his trainee stumbled on a Cobra operation. They were ambushed by Cobra EELs and the trainee suffered severe injuries and equipment damage. Deep Six improvised a way to share oxygen with the trainee and managed to get both of them back to their sub base. The trainee survived and when Hawk heard of this act of bravery and self sacrifice he invited Deep Six to join Sigma Six. He serves as the teams primary dive trainer and works at perfecting his Dolphin Rescue and Recon Drone, an unmanned DSRV that houses an extensive sensor and camera package and an emergency air tank and mask. It also carries a single torpedo launcher and can be programmed with a specific mission or controlled from a voice activated remote implanted in Deep Six's dive helmet. Deep Six is extremely solitary almost to the point of being anti-social. He spends his down time working the New York Times crossword puzzle alone in his quarters. While he may seem distant and detached Deep Six is the first to volunteer for rescue missions and the team holds him in the highest regard.
