I wanted to do this figure from the start but didn't know what I would do for a Junkyard.  Well another Sigma 6 board member pointed me towards a good one and here he is.

Base Figure: Spirit v.1 torso, upper arms & legs / Jet Wing Duke head, lower arms and legs
Accessories: Jet Wing Duke pants / Switchfire / 1/6 scale shotgun and flash light / custom belt

This figure was a tough one to visualize.  But after seeing one another board member did I knew how I wanted to go.  I liked the look of the Spirit upper arms without the Sigma suit port holes and the larger forearms of the Duke figure captured the beefed up look I wanted.  The Jet Wing Duke lower legs were something different I wanted to do and in his bio I think it works.  I shaved down the hair on the head, sculpted the moustache and painted him in his v.1 color scheme of red and green.  Also I dyed the JWDuke pants in black to darken them up, not quite black but darker than the blue of the originals.  I added the stubble to his face to give the figure a rugged look.  A guy that's meaner than his dog has got to have little concern for shaving.

Mutt is a natural with animals and has always gotten along better with his four legged partners than his fellow soldiers.  A graduate of Jungle Warfare Training School, he was attached to Special Ops units and served as an advisor to the Security Enforcement Committee before moving on to Military Police training where he was teamed up with a mean, dirty Rottweiler named Junkyard.  The two have been inseparable ever since.  Needing someone to head up security at The Rock, the Sigma 6 unit base, Hawk kept coming across Mutt's name when asking for recommendations.  Mutt and Junkyard joined the team and Mutt leads the base MPs as well as joining missions where a K-9 is needed.  Mutt wears a special pair of boots designed by Hi-Tech that enhance his foot speed allowing him to keep up with Junkyard when the dog is in a full run.

Hawk: "Mutt is by far the meanest soldier I've ever met and the only thing he seems to show any genuine kindness to is his dog, Junkyard.  But that doesn't mean he's not good at what he does.  Whether its chasing down a Cobra unit in the field or walking the perimeter of the Rock, these two are an intimidating pair.  And that's just the kind of attitude this team needs."
