When I got the Ninja Showdown set I knew what I wanted to do with the figures.  I swapped the heads and created two new figures that I think fit into the Sigma 6 universe better than the original Ninja Showdown figures.

This was without a doubt the easiest custom I've ever done.  A simple boil 'n pop head swap and BAM a totally new character.  Add in the S6 dog tags and a couple swords and the newest member of Sigma 6 is born.

After serving as Cobra Commander's right hand and bodyguard for years, the many atrocities that Storm Shadow witnessed eventually weighed so heavily on his conscious that he defected from Cobra.  On the recommendation of fellow Arashikage ninja and sword brother Snake-Eyes, Storm Shadow was accepted into the Sigma 6 team as an advisor and combat instructor.  His years of service with Cobra and the many secrets he knows makes him a very valuable asset.  It also makes him a prime target for Cobra Commander's retribution.  In fact Cobra Commander has placed a rather sizable bounty on Storm Shadow's head and because of this he is not allowed on missions.  General Hawk keeps Storm Shadow under tight lock and key in the safety of the Sigma 6 headquarters.

Storm Shadow is not trusted by many of the Sigma 6 team however they trust Snake-Eyes judgment and tolerate his presence.  The intelligence he's provided and his knowledge of the inner workings of Cobra have proven quite valuable and have earned him the respect of his new teammates.  They may not trust his motives but his track record speaks for itself.  However some believe it is only a matter of time before Storm Shadow changes sides again and returns to his evil ways.  Snake-Eyes knows this better than anyone and stands prepared to face his sword brother in combat if the need should ever arise, a fact that Storm Shadow knows all too well.
