Wild Bill is another of my favorite Joes and when I saw that Desert Long Range came with a six-shooter I knew he was destined to be the Joes first helo pilot.

I started this custom with sculpting the hat.  It took some time and I'm still not quite happy with it but it works.  Then I had to sculpt a moustache and cut off the pony tail.  I painted the accent parts of the Sigma Suit in a leather color to give Wild Bill here a flight jacket look.  The holster for the shot gun is from a Duke v.1 holster with a custom webgear belt.  I modified the Desert Long Range belt and added a second holster so he'd have his twin six-guns.  Add silver (mirrored) Duke glasses and my Wild Bill was complete.

Helicopter Pilot

Wild Bill is the only member of the Sigma 6 team that wasn't actively serving in the military when he joined.  He went straight from high school to the army where he served in Long Range Recon Patrols in several countries before finding his true calling in cockpit of a helicopter.  In fact he was so good that he served as an instructor in the Army's Flight Warrant Officer school where he trained future Sigma 6 XO Flint.  However a military career wasn't in Wild Bill's plans and upon completing his enlistment he left the Army and went into law enforcement with the Texas Rangers.  Here his early military training and experience came into play as he was part of a Ranger task force that tracked and intercepted smuggling rings and illegal immigrants crossing over from Mexico.  It was during one such investigation that Wild Bill had his first encounter with the terrorist organization known as Cobra.  He single handedly tracked a shipment of weapons from the Texas border all the way to Kansas City where he finally took them down.  It was this tenacity and drive that caught Hawk's attention and Wild Bill was invited to join Sigma 6.

Wild Bill serves as the team's primary helicopter pilot.  He also frequently teams up with Spirit tracking down Cobra cells and agents.  Wild Bill is well liked by his teammates and his "tall tales" keep the team calm even in the most dangerous situations.
