After using the Cobra Trooper armor to make a custom Officer I had to do something with the Lt. Stone figure.  Looking at it I saw Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

While most people will be using their extra Lt. Stones to make Major Bludd customs, since I already have one I decided to try making a Nick Fury figure.  Nothing too major here except cutting a hole into his mouth for the "cigar" which is just a toothpick cut down to size and painted.  I decided to use the current S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform as a base, changing out the white gloves for black.  I attached one of Stones holsters directly to his leg since I didn't want to use the belt. I touched up the paint on the cybernetic arm to cover up the translucent green and to give it a weathered look like the parts had been changed out a lot.  A couple custom S.H.I.E.L.D. logos and he's all set.

Sigma 6 is United States military unit, funded and staffed by the U.S.  The United Nations, seeing a need for a more globalized anti-terrorist unit developed S.H.I.E.L.D. as the international counterpart to Sigma 6 with a focus on intelligence gathering.  Nick Fury, a former U.S. soldier and spy was asked by the President of the United States to head the new U.N. task force and Fury, ever the patriot, accepted.  As the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. Fury is in charge of intelligence and information gathering against threats to world security and when necessary plans and leads missions based on that information.  He works closely with Sigma 6 intelligence and their public face, General Joe "G.I. Joe" Colton.  Most of Fury's record is classified but what is known is that he has a great love of his country and will do whatever it takes to keep the world safe.  He lost his left eye and left arm on a mission gone bad and while he opted to not have his eye replaced, he did allow doctors to fit him with a cybernetic arm, similar to the one worn by Lt. Stone of Sigma 6, though Fury's is a much older model and has been upgraded several times over the years.
